Rockmount House sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and offers breathtaking views of the scenic Sky Road. Situated 5 km west of Clifden town.

If you really want to get away from it all, then Rockmount can offer you the complete stress free holiday. On arrival your hosts Paddy & Anne Conroy guarantee you a very warm welcome.

From the front of our house you can view the beautiful gardens and the mountains which lead to the upper Sky Road where the scenery can only be described as spectacular. Or take a two minute walk through the rugged landscape at the back which brings you out along the cliffs, where looking south you can see the Errislannan Peninsula, and looking east you can view Clifden Bay. You might also catch a glimpse of the dolphins. There is also a private walking trail near to the house.

If deep sea fishing is what you enjoy, then a daily cruise out along the Atlantic can be arranged, or maybe just strolling along the coastline toward Clifden town, where you can also view the magnificent old ruins of Clifden Castle on your way.
