The Local Area

Dolphins From the front of our house you can view the beautiful gardens and the mountains which lead to the upper Sky Road where the scenery can only be described as spectacular. There is a private walking trail at the back of the house, through the rugged landscape, which brings you out along the cliffs, where looking south you can see the Errislannan Peninsula, and looking east you can view Clifden Bay. You might also catch a glimpse of the dolphins.

Castle Ruins, Sky Road If deep sea fishing is what you enjoy, then a daily cruise out along the Atlantic can be arranged, or maybe just strolling along the coastline toward Clifden town, where you can also view the magnificent old ruins of Clifden Castle on your way.
